Reddit is the self proclaimed, "front page of the internet". They live up that claim rather well. Reddit is much like an RSS feed, users post links to news stories humorous articles, pictures, announcements, etc, and other users either "up-vote", or "down-vote" those links. The link with the most up-votes gets to the "front page" that contains 25 links.
Reddit has every different category imaginable, and if they don't have the category you are looking for... you can START IT!!!
A couple of Sub-Reddits(categories) i recommend: funny, gaming(i r nerd), world news, science(BILL NYE), IAMA(ask me anything, Obama even reddited once), and don't forget technology.
